Animal Welfare Oversight Committee

The Committee is charged with insuring that the Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Facility is run in a humane manner in accordance with established and recognized standards for animal shelters; implementing the City Council's adoption policy; educating the community; coordinating volunteer services to the Animal Shelter/Pet Adoption Facility; and implementing an on-site spaying and neutering program.  Meets the 2nd Monday of every other month at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Norman Public Library, 103 Acres Street, in the Pioneer Room on the 3rd floor unless otherwise stated on agenda.
