Requirements to meet the "Professional"
- Architecture degree & 2 years’ experience
- Licensed Architect
- Graduate degree in History or a bachelor’s degree in History and 2 years’ experience
- Graduate degree in Architectural History or Historic Preservation, or a bachelor’s degree in Architectural History or Historic Preservation and 2 years’ experience
- Graduate degree in Archaeology
All Historic District applicants must demonstrate an interest in historic preservation and are required to submit a resume along with their application per SHPO.
