Historic District Commission
Prepares a comprehensive inventory of all historic resources and a plan to preserve those buildings. Reviews historic district applications, makes recommendations to Council regarding historical preservation and "Certificates of Appropriateness"; may oversee historical projects; conducts periodic review of status of designated landmarks and provides reports; develops guidelines for reviewing applications. Meets the 1st Monday of every month except in September (meets the 2nd Tuesday) at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, Council Chambers located at 201 West Gray unless otherwise stated on agenda. (3-year term)
