Note: The City of Norman Charter requires those members serving on the Norman Regional Hospital Authority, Parks Board, and Reapportionment Commission be registered voters of the City of Norman.

Requirements to meet the "Professional" 

  1. Architecture degree & 2 years’ experience
  2. Licensed Architect
  3. Graduate degree in History or a bachelor’s degree in History and 2 years’ experience
  4. Graduate degree in  Architectural History or Historic Preservation, or a bachelor’s degree in Architectural History or Historic Preservation and 2 years’ experience
  5. Graduate degree in Archaeology

All Historic District applicants must demonstrate an interest in historic preservation and are required to submit a resume along with their application per SHPO.
